Friday, February 28, 7 – 9 pm
The art of marbling, known as suminagashi ("floating ink") was originally used on paper with the practice dating back to 12th century Japan. This expressive art practice allows students to interact with, manipulate, and swirl colours into patterns. These patterns are then transferred to fabric. Participants will create intricate and unique designs and will leave with 8 - 10 pieces of fabric art to craft with or simply adore.
