Paints: recommended beginner colours: Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Red Medium, Phthalo Blue, Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine Blue, For a more extended palette add: Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre, Alizarian Crimson, Scarlet Lake, Hookers Green, Pthalo Green or Winsor Green, Burnt Umber (Optional: Dioxazine Violet) Brushes: synthetic or natural hair 1” Flat, #8 Round, #6 Round, #2 Rigger, paper: 9”x12” Arches 140lb. cold press (comes in large sheet you can cut down), masking tape, paper, towel, B or HB pencil, white eraser or a kneaded eraser, 1 small bottle of masking fluid, small sketchbook.
