GSA W/C BEGIN: NIGHTS SPRING
WATERCOLOUR FOR BEGINNERS: EVENINGS SPRING
with Joe Swanek
8 WEEKS, WEDNESDAYS, MAY 3 – JUNE 21, 7-9:30 PM, $200 + HST
This introductory course in watercolour painting will give you a sound and logical basis for painting objectively in watercolour. It will eliminate the need for trial and error, thereby shortening the painting process. At the same time it will allow you the freedom to explore your unique visual voice. By using only the primary colours ( red, yellow and blue) one paint brush and a palette you will first produce a colour chart rendering the primary, secondary and tertiary colours from their lowest value (0) to their highest value (10). A number of still life studies will be completed in class in order to master the "painting by numbers" watercolor painting method.
