Get set up to paint in gouache and learn new painting techniques.
In this class we’ll talk about the qualities of gouache paint, practice brushwork and experiment with different brushes, mix our colours, sketch a rough composition, learn gouache painting techniques and explore adding details with other mediums. We’ll put this practice to use by creating a final painting.
Woven into the class is talking about fundamentals like setting up a workspace and caring for brushes.
Projects: As a group we will paint a floral painting to practice gouache painting skills. After this students work on their own project and can go freestyle or choose a reference photo of a floral arrangement.
All Materials are Included
Winter Footwear: Please no wet shoes/boots in the GSA. Kindly bring indoor footwear to change into.
