GSA Drawing for Beginners: Evenings
with Roisin Gormley-Young
8 WEEKS, TUESDAYS, SEPT. 11 – OCT. 30, 6:30 – 9:30 PM
So, you say you can only draw a stick figure…then, you have mastered the first skill in drawing. Learn how to draw even better with a unique approach by learning how to transcribe what your eyes see on to paper. We will be drawing with pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolour crayons and soft pastels. With exercises meant to develop your “keen eye” and to stretch your brain, you will be put through a series of repetitive drawing exercises that will hone your skill. You will be amazed how well you can draw by the second week! We will start each class with a warm-up, a memory exercise and a finished drawing.
