Welcome to the Watercolour Open Studio, a visual art class offering the space and a structured time to explore ideas and to create art. At the beginning of the course, the instructor will discuss the participants' areas of interest and the goals they want to achieve. Students will keep a Weekly Journal/sketchbook of their Inspirational Themes, in which they sketch the main motive for each week and write notes on a direction on how to develop it into a more complete work of art. During the classes, the instructor will provide prompt advice and guidance to help the student explore and create art to their highest potential. Additionally, the instructor will present the theory of composition in small weekly portions. The instructor, whenever it will be possible, will paint her own watercolour projects and will share the experience with the participants.
Materials:
Bring in any materials needed for their watercolour projects as paints, favorite type of paper, brushes and pallets, masking tape. Cardboard boards will be provided.
