Join us in this full-day workshop where we’ll learn a version of the Coptic stitch using soft covers. The binding is known for its durability and ability to lay flat when open which makes the journals great for capturing sketches, stories and world-changing ideas on the go! They fit perfectly into knapsacks or handbags. These books sew up quickly and you’ll be amazed at the unlimited variations you can create after you master the basic stitch.
Each participant will leave with 2-3 finished books and the confidence to make more at home with limited supplies. No experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun and learn something new. Don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them for close-up work.
