SUMMER ART CAMPS!
MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9 AM - 4 PM
GSA Summer Camps provide a positive, inclusive learning environment geared towards making art and having fun. We offer 9 individual week-long programs designed to encourage creativity, learn new skills and to explore new mediums and ideas. Camps run Monday to Friday from 9 am - 4 pm.
Lessons will introduce various contemporary and historical art images and concepts, translating these into age appropriate lessons. The world of art has many possibilities! Each day will offer a variety of expressive projects exploring different techniques taught by two Red Cross Certified and experienced
full time instructors. Students will have the chance to work with various types of paints, like acrylic & watercolour & drawing media such as pastels, ink & charcoal, printmaking and sculpture mediums. Course content varies week by week to allow for repeat registrations.
Camp takes place in our bright studio on the 3rd floor of 125 Wyndham Street North. Lunch break is spent at near-by Joseph Wolfond Memorial Park. On rainy days we will screen a short film or play indoor games.
