Flowers Bloom by Yulia Balobanova

Hours are Wednesday - Friday, 3pm - 5pm until May 4th.

*This exhibition is HELD OVER, and still on display! *

This body of work continues to explore the interaction of nature and man-made forms. She was inspired by fresh flowers, glass vases, and lights, which created whimsical shadow shapes.

Yulia starts with composition to connect flowers, vases, and shadows. She applies oil or wax pastel with very gentle strokes to build layers, to create a vibrant texture and a balanced color temperature.
