Square Foot Community Exhibition & Sale

Ground Floor Gallery is excited to announce our first annual Square Foot Community Show and Sale. Artists are invited to submit a 12” x 12” piece in any medium, in the style of their choice. Registration is open to all. 

The registration period begins on September 8th in store at 10am, and online at noon. Each artist may sign-up for a maximum of 2 spots, (one piece per spot). Upon registration, artists must pay a $25 fee for a single spot, with the option to purchase an additional spot for $10.

Registration will close prior to the drop off period, or once every spot has been taken. Spaces are limited, so apply early! 

*Each registered participant will receive one single-use coupon for 15% off one purchase at Wyndham Art Supplies.

All pieces must be 12” x 12” ( including the frame if applicable), and cannot exceed a depth of 3”. All artwork must be ready to hang, with proper hardware already attached (wire or d-rings). All work must be for sale, and will be priced at $150 + tax. Ground Floor Gallery will retain a 25% commission on all sales.

Completed artwork must be dropped off no earlier than October 13th and no later than October  24th, during our regular business hours, with our provided Artwork Info Sheet completed and attached.  If artists wish to ship their work to us, all shipping expenses are the artist’s responsibility. 

Artwork will be photographed, promoted, and sold by Ground Floor Gallery. Pieces will be available to purchase both in store and online starting the first day of the exhibition, but will not be available for pick-up until December 5th. Shipping will also be available at the buyer’s expense, with shipments starting on December 7th. Any unsold artwork must be collected between January 6th and January 12th. Ground Floor Gallery cannot store anything past these dates.

Ground Floor Arts reserves the right to exclude any work that does not fit the technical guidelines or is deemed unsuitable for hanging for any reason. Registration fees will be refunded for work that is not exhibited.
