Join us for a creative journey into the world of botanical plant drawing! This workshop is perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts alike, offering a comprehensive introduction to the art of capturing plants with precision and beauty. In this workshop, you will learn essential tips and tricks for producing stunning botanical drawings. We will explore fundamental techniques, such as observation skills, shading, and line work, to bring botanical subjects to life on paper. A key focus of this workshop is plant anatomy. You will delve into the details of plants, learning how to accurately depict leaves, flowers, stems, and more.
Material List:
A sketchbook, size 11” x 14” minimum is recommended. Try to find something with smooth paper. An HB pencil is preferred, but any old pencil will do. a kneadable eraser. Pencil crayons or water colour pencil crayons can be a great addition to the class.
