In this introductory workshop, students will get a chance to experiment with gouache (pronounced "gwash"). Used like watercolour but with the ability to layer like acrylics, this medium is very fun to work with! In this 2.5 hour workshop students will learn about colour and colour mixing, how to handle a brush with gouache, and do some basic exercises. Using still life, printed images, and books, students will ideally complete a simple painting by the end of the workshop. All materials are included.
