Since its launch in 2007, the Preppy fountain pen has captured the spirit of fine writing in a modern, simple, and very affordable form. The pen features Platinum's patented "Slip and Seal" cap mechanism, which helps keep the nib wet and ready to write for up to a year without use. The pen's cap and ink feed are color-coded to match the ink color of the pen, and the nib size is also printed on top of the cap so that you can pick out the pen you want at a glance.
