Erin Perry was born in Montreal, Quebec, and earned her BFA from the Emily Carr University of Art + Design and an MFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Perry has shown internationally since 2003 at galleries such as Public Fiction (Los Angeles), The Museum of Longing and Failure (Bergen), WORK (Brooklyn), Access Gallery (Vancouver) and The Waitingroom (Tokyo). In May of 2010, at the Minzu University in Beijing, China, she lectured about her sculptures entitled Same/Difference. Perry had her premiere solo show, These Things Are Tired, at the Elora Centre for the Arts in 2013. Most recently, her first public bronze sculpture, Before Knowing, was permanently installed at ECFTA. Perry was honoured to receive a Canada Council Grant to achieve its production.

Erin Perry currently lives and works in the village of Elora, Ontario.
