Want to spread the joy of a handmade card? Whether you have big plans for birthdays, anniversaries or just want to make something unique and one of a kind, this workshop is for you!
During this single day workshop, we will go through planning and designing a simple card design, then will transfer and carve that pattern into a provided linoleum printing block. Participants will print a sample of their pattern onto a set of cards and envelopes and leave with the ability to continue producing more.
Please come with an idea or sketch of what you would like to carve
Students will be provided with linoleum, carving tools, and paper to create their own greeting cards. They will learn how to handle carving tools safely, how to apply even coats of ink, and how to get a consistent print on paper. All experience levels are welcome.
