Join us for a fun intro to tie-dye!
In this workshop we'll warm up by dying provided sheets of Japanese paper and a cotton tote bag which you will be able to take home at the end of class. You are welcome to bring a t shirt or other cotton item to experiment with!
We'll go over the full process, including tips and tricks for getting bright colours and interesting designs, and just have fun making a bit of a mess.
Please dress for mess!
Materials: Although materials are included, we encourage you to bring your own item to personalize such as T-shirts, pillowcases, socks, etc. They must be made from natural fibers such as cotton, linen, hemp, and silk; though cotton is preferred. Fabric blends may give variable results.
