We roll, as opposed to folding our primed canvas to prevent creasing.
Professional technical note: While many oil painters regularly paint on two-coat acrylic primed canvas, it is recommended to apply one or two additional coats to help prevent the eventual (10 years +) penetration of oil through the gesso to the canvas substrate.
