Our Pearlescent Palette is wonderful for adding pearlescent accents to traditional watercolours, for hand-lettering and calligraphy applications, and for illustration work. Add highlights to water reflecting the sunshine, or add to wildlife paintings to mimic the iridescence of feathers, the scales of fish, or the wings of butterflies. These colours mix beautifully with others and combine to create a veritable rainbow of shimmering hues. Stoneground’s pearlescent watercolours are permanent, lightfast, and non-toxic.
Stoneground’s Small Pearlescent Palette contains six half pans of our handmade watercolour paint in a hinged metal tin. Measuring approximately 2 1/2” x 2”, this compact size is ideal for travel and plein air painting.
