Watercolour Monotype Printmaking

Just in time for Easter. Create luminous, one-of-a-kind prints in this expressive watercolour monotype workshop.

Build layered imagery with painting and drawing using additive and reductive techniques, stencils, and masks—then transfer your design to paper using an intaglio press. Experiment with watercolour paints and water-soluble crayons to develop rich textures and vibrant colour. 

Participants will be making several prints, all greeting card size, perfect for a spring greeting. Be prepared to fall in love with the surprising and addictive magic of printmaking.

Students are encouraged to bring a sketch or an image for inspiration
