Join us for a fun exploration of drawing trees!
Students will learn to draw trees by observing how trunks, branches, and leaves grow and connect. We will advance beyond our perception of trees as just symbols, and also explore them through a philosophical lens.
We will combine our new understanding of tree structure with expressive mark-making, helping each student create a tree with its own sense of movement and personality. Parents are welcome to participate alongside their children, making this a relaxed, collaborative drawing experience.
Materials are included, students are welcome to bring their sketchbook
