"I strive to recreate the awesome beauty that can be found in everyday landscape. I work on emphasizing how natural light and shadow can transform a scene from ordinary to one of intrigue. Through colour and movement of line, I paint to highlight inspiring vignettes happened upon during a walk, hike or everyday scheduled travel. Landscape whose quiet beauty gives pause, and forces a moment of awe and admiration."
