GSA WORK PERSPECTIVE DRAW
PERSPECTIVE DRAWING WORKSHOP with Diana Raponi *NEW
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19, 10 AM – 4 PM, $65 + HST *Suitable for both teens & adults
Join us for this focused, one day, summer drawing workshop. We will be indoors in the GSA studio for the first half of the class brushing up on and practicing our shading techniques (crosshatching and pointillism) as well as gesture drawing. We'll also take this time to review and practice how perspective drawings work and discuss vanishing points and how they can help us when drawing landscapes and architecture. Another hot topic is identifying light sources; “where is the Sun right now” and how to adjust your shading accordingly? After our studio session we will go outside, weather permitting, to draw various parts of the architecture and cityscape of downtown of Guelph. In case of rain we will stay in and work on still lifes and/or from photo reference.
